Jewelry Care

Our gold-filled jewelry is created with an outer layer of 14k and/or 18K gold that is pressure-bonded to a brass base metal and contains at least 5% gold by weight. This process is more durable than gold plating & vermeil and comes second only to solid gold when it comes to quality- making it one of the best options for affordability & longevity. If cared for properly, your GG pieces will last for many years to come!

Please be aware of your pieces coming in contact with beauty products (lotions, makeup, hairspray, perfumes, oils, etc.) as these can dull your pieces. Although it’s safe to wear your pieces in water if you dry off your pieces afterwards, we recommend removing when you can, and avoiding chlorine and salt water for longevity of your jewelry. 

Store in a dry place, avoiding humidity (in a cloth or plastic bag is ideal). We recommend cleaning your gold filled jewelry regularly using warm water & soap, a soft toothbrush, and a rag to dry.
